A woman apologizing to a mama cat after her kitten got stuck in another room left people in stitches over her demands.
The owner, who is known on TikTok as @catspetsanimals, couldn’t understand why one of her foster cats kept crying. She could tell her cat felt distressed, but couldn’t figure out why. This mama cat followed the owner around the house, constantly meowing.
It finally dawned on the owner that the cat’s kitten had gotten accidentally stuck in the room alone, and being a good mama, she needed to rescue her baby.
In the April 29 TikTok video, the owner explained that her daughter shut her bedroom door when she left for school, not realizing a kitten had snuck inside. She spotted a small black item sticking out of the door as she walked to her daughter’s room. The kitten’s tiny paw reached underneath the door, begging to be saved.
With the cat closely behind, she opened the door to find a black kitten coming out. After one quick look at her kitten, which confirmed the baby was safe, she kept walking into the room to check that no one else was stuck. All was clear, and the owner kicked them out of the room, closing the door behind them.
The cat wouldn’t let it go that this event happened, despite her baby being safe. She kept meowing at the owner. The owner apologized repeatedly. She even said she would get mad at her daughter on the mama cat’s behalf. She would “scold” her daughter.

Viewer Reactions
The TikTok video amassed over 641,800 views and 60,900 likes as of Tuesday. People couldn’t get over the feline’s persistence, joking that those meows were “harsh words in cat language,” but they also understood—mothers are extremely protective of their babies.
“She has so many mostly kind words for the manager lol,” commented a viewer, while someone else echoed: “Momma wants a full investigation.”
Another added: “Dying. She’s like, ‘You better scold your daughter for locking my child in her room.'”
A fourth wrote: “The way she stood in the doorway like, ‘Don’t ever do this again.'”
