In an interview before WrestleMania 41, CM Punk said that his match probably shouldn’t be main eventing night one, indicating that one of the Women’s title matches should be there instead.

After watching Iyo Sky defend the Women’s World Title against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, he was absolutely right.

The match was an instant classic with constant action, fantastic spots, and moments where every participant seemed like they could win.

Needless to say, this match was leagues better than any opening match had a right to be. And fans online seem to agree.

“These 3 just put on a classic performance,” Roman Reigns SZN said on X. “RESPECT.”

“This match might be better than anything on the Night 1 card save the main event,” Referee Jared Hawkins said.

“These three women are so awesome,” said Ben Bobick.

“They’re proving why they should’ve main evented last night,” said Jacob.

Needless to say, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair have come out and proven that they aren’t just some of the best women on the WWE roster, but three of the best wrestlers in the entire world.
